Compared with other fire bricks, MgO-C bricks have high refractoriness, good Slag-erosion resistance and spalling resistance, and are widely lined in wall of electrical furnace and ladle with severe conditions.
For permanent lining, MgO firebrick is usually used to save cost.

Refractory brick production process
The manufacturing of refractory brick includes six general steps: mining and storage of raw materials, preparing raw materials, forming the brick, drying, firing and cooling, de-hacking, and storing finished products.
